Diversity of Thinking Styles (6 Session Options)

Why can a person see an issue from one perspective that is very different from another person’s?  Is there a preferred approach to solving problems?  Have communication style differences resulted in broken relationships?  Do people leverage their whole brain?

This program applies the Hermann Brain Dominance (aka Whole-Brain) Model developed by Ned Herrmann.  The model describes several unique thinking styles and the inclinations people have towards these mental processes.  Understanding thinking styles helps to better understand our approach to communications, interpersonal relationships, problem solving and leadership.  This model also helps explain why other people behave in the way they do.

Session Options:

Basic Introduction of the Whole Brain Model (2 hours)

Effective Communications Using the Whole Brain Model* (4 hours)

Problem Solving Using the Whole Brain Model* (4 hours)

Leadership Using the Whole Brain Model* (4 hours)

Team Building Using the Whole Brain Model* (4 hours)

Applying the Whole Brain Model in Everyday Leadership* (6 hours)

* These sessions include the review of individual HBDI assessments.  The HBDI (Hermann Brain Dominance Inventory) is a 120 question assessment that individuals take online, prior to the program.  It provides a detailed and personalized profile of the individual’s thinking style, which can then be analyzed in relation to the thinking style of other work colleagues.

* This program provides both individual HBDI assessment reports and a consolidated team report which analyzes the composite thinking profile of all participants.  This assesses the team’s effectiveness in working effectively together and in solving problems which may require unique strengths.
